JACK SAEBYOK JUNG, translator of South Korean avant-garde poet Kim Hyesoon’ Lady No (Ecco), is a 2024 National Endowment for the Arts Translation Fellow and the author of Hocus Pocus Bogus Locus (Black Square Editions). A Truman Capote Fellow at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, he also co-translated Yi Sang: Selected Works (Wave Books), winner of the MLA Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione prizes for translation of a literary work. He teaches at Davidson College.
