JILL KAHN took many iconic images of the bands, clubs, and people involved in the SFLA alternative music and culture scene in the 1980s through the 2017 Miami Punk Rock High Reunion at Churchill’s Hideaway, and she continues working as a professional photographer today. She played bass for a decade in the Mach 3 version of the Miami band the Psycho Daisies and is an active member of the Florida chapter of the Recording Academy, joining in advocating for musicians’ rights. Her images are featured throughout and on the cover of Punk Under the Sun: ’80s Punk and New Wave in South Florida.
