KIMBERLY REYES is the author of five books spanning poetry and nonfiction. Her most recent collection, Bloodletting: Poems (Omnidawn), was longlisted for the Maya Angelou Book Award. Her writing has appeared in The Atlantic, The New York Times, the Associated Press, Entertainment Weekly, Time, The Village Voice, The Poetry Review, The Stinging Fly, American Poets, and Poem-a-Day, and on poets.org, among many other venues. She is an assistant professor of English and creative writing at the University of Miami.
