Miguel Lara is a Cuban American photographer and educator. His fine-art photography captures themes of migration, family, and resilience, and has been exhibited at Art Basel Miami and the Museum of Contemporary Photography. Lara teaches visual storytelling at Florida International University and leads youth photography programs throughout South Florida. His photobook, Home Between Shores, was published in 2023.
