Havana-born TERESA DOVALPAGE is a college professor and prolific author based in Hobbs, New Mexico. She holds a Ph.D. in Hispanic literature and has published 14 novels in both English and Spanish, as well as a collection of Spanish-language plays. Her Havana Mystery series includes Queen of Bones, one of NBC News’ 10 Best Latino Books of 2019, and Last Seen in Havana, an Amazon Editors’ Pick praised by The New York Times. Her latest release is the metafictional mystery The Novel Detective: A Detective Novel (Soho Crime), a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection.
