Webber J. Charles

Webber J. Charles is the senior site director of Breakthrough Miami – Ransom Everglades School, where he focuses on motivating high-achieving, low-income students and guiding his professional and community work. He has managed several of the school’s community outreach programs and served as a faculty sponsor of the Black Student Association and Ransom Everglades Chess Club. A first-generation Haitian American born and raised in Miami, Charles also served as a faculty committee member of the Diversity Council, the Booker T. Washington Student Exchange Program, and the Haiti Initiative. He will be at Miami Book Fair 2022 as part of the “More Than What Happened: The Aftermath of Gun Violence in Miami” panel, moderated by Nadege Green.
