Big adventures deserve a little book to remember them! Join artist and educator Jose Luis Garcia to discover the art of bookmaking and create handmade books small enough to fit right in your pocket. Using simple folds and everyday materials, you’ll learn how to make Leporello books, accordion books, and simple zines that you can fill with drawings, stories, notes, and memories. Tuck your creation into your pocket and keep it handy to capture all the adventures you’ll have throughout Children’s Alley!

This event is a ticketed Create! featured workshop. All featured workshops require a free ticket to attend due to limited seating. Tickets may be picked up at the Info Booth in Children’s Alley; a standby line will be available for each workshop in the event a ticketed attendee does not show up.
