In Best Seat in the House: Moments No One Asked Me to Capture… But I Did Anyway, Jeff Garlin shares candid, never-before-seen photographs with hilarious personal stories that capture the heart of life onstage and off. Known for decades of riotous stand-up bits and iconic roles like Jeff Greene on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Garlin heralds his lesser-known passion for photography through an inside look at comedy’s biggest stars, including Mel Brooks, Larry David, Brad Pitt, Sarah Silverman, Jerry Seinfeld, and more. Revealing the humor and tenderness of his closest friends, collaborators, and mentors in this love letter to comedy and its creators, each image reflects the wit, warmth, and spontaneity that define Garlin’s voice. Joining him in conversation is Peter Mehlman, comedian, TV writer and producer, and author of Deep Down Iola.
