1 / 2Actor Tony Shalhoub’s debut book, We Thought They’d Never Leave: Musings on Food and Family, co-written with his daughter, writer and producer Josie Adams, is a heartfelt memoir about food, family, recipes, and the stories passed down around the table. At its center is the annual Shalhoub summer reunion in Door County, Wisconsin – a tradition that pulls 10 siblings, their children, and their children’s children back to the same stretch of land, carrying decades of shared history with them. We Thought They’d Never Leave is an invitation to join the Shalhoubs’ table, where everyone has an opinion, everyone is expected to pitch in, and there’s always room for one more.
This is a ticketed event that includes a copy of the book and entry for one person ($35); companion tickets ($10 each; one per purchased book-bundled ticket) do not include a book. Books purchased from other retailers will not include a ticket to enter this event.
